Brazilian Butt Lift
A Brazilian butt lift (BBL) is a popular cosmetic procedure that involves the transfer of fat to help create more fullness in your backside. A Brazilian butt lift consists of fat grafting that is notable for its natural-looking results.
To determine your candidacy for this treatment, it’s best to book an in-person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon.
Your surgeon will recommend that you take a week off after your Brazilian Butt Lift procedure. Your doctor and post op nurse will explain in detail all the measures you need to take to ensure the best post operative results.
Ageing, genetics, and significant weight fluctuations can all contribute to sagging arm skin, which can’t be tightened by exercise and diet alone. An arm lift is a cosmetic surgical procedure to improve the appearance of the under portion of your upper arms.
It can be combined with other body contouring procedures like liposuction, to remove excess fat and give arms or other areas a more toned, sculpted look. It may also be performed as part of a more extensive body lift surgery (with other procedures like a tummy tuck, thigh lift, or breast lift), for patients who have lost a significant amount of weight, or as part of a mommy makeover.
The best candidates for thigh lift surgery have excess skin or loose tissue under their upper arms and are at a fairly stable weight. That said, it is best to book an in-person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon.
After the operation, in addition to any bandages placed over the incisions, the upper arms will be contained within an elastic (compression) bandage to reduce swelling.
This procedure normally only requires a few days of downtime. It may take up to four weeks for the bruising and swelling to recede, however patients should refrain from any strenuous activity for four weeks. Scarring should fade by six months at the latest.
