A mommy makeover refers to a combination of body contouring and intimate rejuvenation procedures that are customised to you. The areas treated may include the breasts, abdomen, arms, thighs, buttocks and intimate areas.

A mommy makeover is a standard combination of cosmetic surgery procedures that are performed together during a one operation: a breast lift, a tummy tuck, and liposuction (normally of the tummy and lower body). These are, in fact, the most common plastic surgery procedures for women overall. Sometimes breast augmentation using implants is also performed, if necessary or desired, and women who have had a caesarean section may opt for scar revision.
Mommy makeover recovery
Each mommy makeover procedure has a specific plan for optimal recovery and results. You may have a support bra and to control the swelling and support the breasts. Post liposuction and abdominoplasty you will need to wear a compression garment to minimize swelling.
You will be provided the relevant medications but will need to avoid strenuous activities for a while. You will have several follow-ups with surgeon and it’s likely you can return to work after two weeks.
